One of the largest and most unique
Water Parks in the world

Dino

THE concept

With the increase in global travel and the huge exposure of social media, visitors to a Water Park expect more. People expect a theme, they expect technology and they expect service.

The Water Park will be built in the style of “Jurassic park” with life-size animatronic dinosaurs in a tropical setting. The atmosphere will be enhanced using themed construction, signage, lighting, landscaping, models, worker’s uniforms, sound and smell to provide visitors with a unique experience.

Visitors to the Water Park will enjoy many attractions for all age group including extreme water slides, a huge wave pool, a unique outdoor “wet” disco, covered one-of-a-kind relaxation pools, a children’s wet play area, a lazy river and family slides and water attractions.

The majority of theming will use cutting edge technology which will allow the water park to keep abreast of new developments and not appear outdated. Realistic life-size dinosaurs will appear in the park as realistic as if they were alive! There will be at least one animatronic dinosaur, T-Rex (7m high, 14m long) which will look completely realistic, be manually controlled with lifelike movements and can respond to guest’s comments, gestures and movements.

In addition to all this, a large family entertainment center will be built on 2 levels (each level, 2,900 square meters), providing a variety of entertainment for families and children aged 2-12 as well as respite from the heat of the southern Israeli summer. It will include a huge jamboree section, themed maze, virtual reality arenas, computer gaming room, bumper cars, a creativity center, themed birthday sections and more.

There is no surfing in the Red Sea so this Water Park will include a surf simulator, the only one in the region, providing both board and body surfing fun for beginners through to experts.

A souvenir shop, providing the greatest choice of dinosaur toys and exhibits in Israel, a huge restaurant area, with a varied choice and styles of meals and snacks and mobile confectionery themed carts.

The maximum number of people attending any single event in Eilat is limited to 5,000. The Water Park will be able to cater for small, medium and large events, up to 25,000 visitors. This will enable the park to stage large concerts, shows and many other special events which have been impossible till now.

Initial attendance expectations

The Underwater Observatory and the Dolphin Reef, currently the 2 largest attractions in the region, have annual attendances of between 230,000 (the Reef, with 20% of the attendance capacity of the Water Park) and 450,000 (the Observatory). The Water Park will attract at least 500,000 visitors due to return visits, as you can visit a Water Park far more often than the Underwater Observatory and the Dolphin Reef.

Clear advantages:

The Israeli government is encouraging the development of tourist attractions and the Water Park project fulfills all the criteria necessary to be considered an 'accredited industry', which means that there will be no income tax paid for the first 10 years of the park operation. Practically, during this period, the Water Park investors will enjoy an extra 30% on their dividends.

Eilat enjoys special status as a VAT free zone (the only city in Israel). This encourages local entrepreneurs to present many new projects to the Eilat municipality . Both the mayor of Eilat and the local area council of Hevel Eilot have shown strong support for the Water Park project during the last 12 years due to its importance to the development of the area.

Eilat enjoys 330 days of sun a year so the "season" is very long, more than twice the length of the vast majority of Water Parks worldwide. During the 240 hottest days we can expect around 840,000 visitors - 5,000 daily visitors (59% of capacity) during the 120 peak summer days and 2,000 daily visitors during the remaining 120 days . (The number of visitors necessary to break even is only 140,200).

The Water Park will be open all-year round for the restaurants, the store, the relaxation pools, and the dinosaur exhibits. In the "off-season" the Water Park will host foreign circuses, shows and large cultural / sport / entertainment events on land set aside especially for this purpose.

The new International Airport opened at the beginning of 2019 with direct flights to Eilat. The airport at Uvda (an hour's drive from Eilat and only open - November to February), increased international arrivals in 2017 by more than 50%. The new International airport (a few minutes north of the Water Park) will drive a significant increase in international tourism throughout the year.

There are more than 2.2 million Israeli tourists to Eilat each year and between 300,000-400,000 International tourists. The number of tourists, both local and international, has been growing steadily over the past 10 years. Eilat has more hotel rooms (11,000) than any other destination in Israel. The hotels have a 69% average yearly occupancy rate, the highest in Israel. Eilat has 65,000 residents.

The completion of the Tel Aviv-Eilat train project (undertaken by a Chinese company) is expected in approximately 3-4 years. It will bring a population of around 4 million Israelis to within a 2-hour ride of Eilat. A train station is planned in front of the Water Park, on the opposite side of the main road. It will surely help increase the number of visitors to the Water Park - a 'must' in the "to do" list of visiting tourists.

Eilat is one the most famous resorts in Israel and the perfect place for vacationers because of the warm and dry desert climate, the Red Sea surrounded by beautiful mountains, the amazing beaches, grand hotels, excellent restaurants and VAT free zone. Eilat is a very peaceful place because Israel has peace agreements with both of our local neighbors, Jordan and Egypt.
